2016 was a whirlwind of a year, and we had our own momentous events throughout.
One of the highlights of the year was the launching of our very own blog right here, and we couldn't be more excited to see where this year of 2017 will take us.
Before we start the next step, however, we wanted to take a look back on our blog posts. In this list, we look at some of the more popular topics, occurrences, and studies that we went over since our launch back in September 2016.
In our first blog post, we went over the 5 stuffed animals that we believed were the most iconic and lovable of them all. While hardly a definitive list, we enjoyed explaining our choices and their history, and still love to see the differing opinions people have.
Several months ago we had the opportunity to be a part of the Pacific Marine Mammal Center's 2016 "Treasures Under the Sea" Gala. We were happy to be able to donate our harbor seal stuffed animal to the event, and look forward to seeing the Center continue the great work it has been doing.
For this blog post, we decided to focus on one of the times of the year that we felt was constantly overlooked: the month of November. With so much going on before and after the month, a lot of great things are often overlooked. While these things are rather simple, sometimes it's the smaller things that can really go a long way, and we wanted to make sure we took some time to highlight them.
Cyber Monday is a popular day for e-commerce, and in one of our many "history" posts, we wanted to take sometime to look into how this shopping tradition was started. While not the most spectacular origin story, it is still interesting to see how trends like these can emerge over the years.
With winter comes snow, and with snow, mobs of snowmen. In one of our latest blogs, we covered some interesting facts about snowman, from normal yet impressive world records to more strange traditions such as an exploding snowman.
